Specialty Finishes

FInishes:  I do specialty finishing work on commission.  Many of these techniques were developed by me, and almost all of them are rustic.  I did these in order to either make the piece look old (apply faux patina to a new piece) or to restore the missing or damaged patina on a real antique.  I am renowned for ignoring directions and going my own way.  I insist, however, that each of my finishes has strong adhesion and durability.  Adhesion is how well the finish sticks to the surface below it, and durability means how does it perform relative to abrasions or substances put on top of its surface.
